For my Module 3 Assignment, I added an AI-supported resume revision and career preparation report focused on my professional role as a business consultant on a People Analytics team. I used AI to help rewrite resume bullets to better highlight data synthesis, strategic planning, and technology management. I utilized a structured prompt that assigned the AI a professional resume writer persona, providing specific context about my career goals while protecting my private personal information.
The AI worked well by quickly translating passive job descriptions into action-oriented, results-driven statements that effectively emphasized my business consulting experience. However, the output needed careful revision because the initial drafts included generic corporate jargon and exaggerated metrics that did not accurately reflect my actual background. I rejected those inflated phrases and personalized the language to maintain absolute truthfulness.
To ensure the final material remained professional and authentic, I cross-referenced every bullet point against my real work history, ensuring zero misleading claims. This artifact shows my ability to use AI for career readiness by demonstrating that I can direct a tool to improve professional framing while maintaining strict personal oversight and integrity.
